Thought for the Day

"Oh, it is wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father loves us - even with all our flaws! His love is such that even should we give up on ourselves, He never will. We see ourselves in terms of yesterday and today. Our Heavenly Father sees us in terms of forever. Although we might settle for less, Heavenly Father won't, for He sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming."

Blessed

Sometimes in life the planets align, the cards are stacked right, and all the pieces fit in the puzzle. That is today for me. :)

It all started as I walked into the Primary room and realized that I had set up the rooms yesterday. SCORE!!
Then as the little ones came walking in I prepared myself for the usual cryers. Those are the ones that I get to hold and cuddle and comfort. But today - no tears!!!! :)
Then I checked for teachers and what we were missing. All accounted for or subs already in place. Cool!!!
Nursery - check!!!! No tears their either (which is VERY rare)!!!

Now don't get me wrong - there were a few hiccups. It wouldn't be Primary without something. But I rolled with it easily today. My counselor who was suppossed to do sharing time called this morning with a sick family member. So I pulled something together. It went amazingly!!!!! Especially with the Junior Primary. I turned down the lights, put on some church music, and sat on the floor with them. Those spiritual, tender moments are the reason I love Primary! Those children are so special. Now I know to some extend what the Savior felt as He gathered the little ones around Him and blessed them.

I came home - took a little power nap and then made dinner for our neighbor teens. I love these kids SO much!!! They are really good kids. We ate, laughed, and had loads of fun!

Now I get to go and spend some time with the YCL's.

Gush, Gush, Gush. I just realized how totally mushy all this sounds!! But for some odd reason things look really good today.
By the way, did I mention that my kids go back to school tomorrow? :)
