Thought for the Day

"Oh, it is wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father loves us - even with all our flaws! His love is such that even should we give up on ourselves, He never will. We see ourselves in terms of yesterday and today. Our Heavenly Father sees us in terms of forever. Although we might settle for less, Heavenly Father won't, for He sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming."

How 'Bout Them Chiefs?!

Here are some pics of Halloween. We went to Greg and Jackies. First we had a little Halloween party with yummy food, games, and playing. Then we went trick or treating in their neighborhood. The funny thing is that each year we always have an "incident". One year Greg almost lite a house on fire. Another year we had a lady give the kids a package of sliced cheese. Well, this year didn't disappoint! At one of the houses there was a big Chargers banner outside. Greg dared all the kids (8 of them) to say, "How 'bout them Chiefs?" instead of "Trick or Treat!" (I am assuming that the Chiefs just beat the Chargers in a game). Greg told the kids that whoever said it he would give them 3 full-sized candy bars. Well...... they all did it!!!! bwahahahaha!!!! They came skipping back to us and wanted their candy bars. Funny thing is that at the next house they each said "How 'bout them Chiefs?" They figured they'd get 3 candy bars EACH time they said it!!! Smart Funny kids!!
