Thought for the Day

"Oh, it is wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father loves us - even with all our flaws! His love is such that even should we give up on ourselves, He never will. We see ourselves in terms of yesterday and today. Our Heavenly Father sees us in terms of forever. Although we might settle for less, Heavenly Father won't, for He sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming."

Demolition Derby

Last night we went to our first ever Demolition Derby. We have some friends who drove a car in it.
The kids were SO excited to go once I explained that a Demolition Derby was a bunch of Junk cars crashing into each other. And man was it fun!!!
We watched Lawnmower Races, Rototiller Races and the Derby.
Here are some pics.

Okay - Why are the rototiller dudes in helmets? LOL! My boys tilled our back yard w/out that kind of safety gear? But there was only one tiller involved! LOL! Amie just went to one of these derby races! You're such a red-neck! Elizabeth is getting BEAUTIFUL!

Heidi, you crack me up!!!
Of course your boys tilled your yard without that kind of safetly gear - what kind of mom do you think you are? :)
Real men don't wear helmets!

And yes, I believe I DID see a bit of red peeking out from behind the collar of my shirt. Do you think my tractors sexy?! :)

And, speaking of Redneck and pretty Elizabeth (thank you, by the way), have you hear that country song about a father talking to his daughters date? Something about sitting there cleaning his gun! That's Bret!
