I am so sick and tired of being nice and kind and polite!!!! I am sick of getting walked on and not standing up for myself. I have reached my limit. From now on, expect me to tell you exactly how I feel!!! I won't be rude, but I WILL be straightforward. For example:
1. Do not send your children to me to ask me why we are giving out candy on Fast Sunday in Primary! It's passive agressive and judgemental. Unless you want to deal with trying to get 97 children to memorize their Program parts then leave me alone! Oh, and why are you casting the first stone?!!!
2. Facial hair does not determine a man's righteousness or willingness to serve the Lord. My husband is one of the most amazing men and if all Young Men could emulate him then they would be alot better off than they are now!!!
3. Friendship does not mean calling someone ONLY when you need them!!! It doesn't mean dumping your kids on them and crying on their shoulder and never returning the favor. It' doesn't mean dumping them when you find another new friend. I'm sick of being the doormat and it really hurts! And the phone goes both ways, in case you didn't know. If I don't call you and you want to talk - then CALL ME!!! Think of ME!!! Maybe I'm having extreme trials in my life and can barely even get out of bed much less try to call every single person in my life every single day. I LOVE YOU!!! Understand that!!! But I am also busy and have things in my life that affect me deeply. Maybe I need some attention too.
4. Don't ask me my opinion if you don't want it!! From now on, I am officially a brutally honest person. I'm sick of being sweet! It hurts!
That is all I can comment on right now. My awesome facial hair husband has a meeting (yes, he is righteous) to go to and needs the laptop. I have to say - you are all lucky because I could go on all day.
P.S. If I've offended anyone, then I'm only a bit sorry! I am so frustrated that I can't be truly sorry. But I know tomorrow I probably will be! Oh well, I'll deal.

This is when I wished I lived around the corner from you. I love that you are human but hate that people can't appreciate you for your amazing self. The people that realize how wonderful you are (kids, hubby, family, and select friends) are the only ones that matter. I'm cheering you on from this corner of the world. Don't be sorry--if they don't like it then they can go to a different blog. BTW, my kids love candy on fast Sunday. What child really fasts anyway much less their parents.

For the record, I never say anything to anyone in the primary about anything - as long as I'm not in charge, I will NOT complain! LOL!

Good for you for not taking it anymore! I think you and your facial haired husband (mine is too!) are two of the most awesome people I have ever known. I know I've never told you that to your face before, but I truly feel that way. Our ward is VERY blessed to have you and your sweet family in it. Thanks for being such a good example to us, love ya!
You know Steph, you are one of the most honest people I know!!! You truly do open your heart to everyone. I am sorry that sometimes others feel they have to take advantage of it. I don't think I would take you any other way. I love being able to run into you after not seeing you for so long and it being like we've been together forever. Your one of those friends I know will always be up front with me and tell me how it is. Remember that you are who you are and that if others want to judge you and your family then they are not being very Christ like. You are a wonderful person and Brets the "MAN". You know how are family feels about you. Oh and by the way... my hubby says he wants to go hunting with grizzly adams soon. Duck season opened this week. Love you lots and remember...THE CHURCH IS TRUE, (even in BUCKEYE:))

Im glad you said something, we really like you and your harry faced husband (I only wish I could grow facial hair like that) the two of you are great example not only to us but to everyone. Don’t let anyone tell you guys anything different.
You know that I (Mike) am just joking with you during primary, I respect all three of you and appreciate you for all you do with those kids, you guys are doing a great job.
Now since I am known as the primary bouncer, and you are in primary feel free to call on me and I will knock some heads around for you.
Just so you know the Gerardis love the Littles, you guys are great people and we are proud to call you our friends.

This is from the mother of the facial hair husband and I would put my son up against anyone don't get me wrong cause no one is perfect not even him. Steph, I'm so proud of you for standing up for yourself and your family. I feel so blessed to have 6 of the most wonderful people in the world and most especially in Buckeye, Arizona call me Mom and Grandma. This is one mother-in-law that is just as much a mother bear when it comes to my daughter-in-law as my son. Just keep telling it like it is I'm proud of you.
