Thought for the Day

"Oh, it is wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father loves us - even with all our flaws! His love is such that even should we give up on ourselves, He never will. We see ourselves in terms of yesterday and today. Our Heavenly Father sees us in terms of forever. Although we might settle for less, Heavenly Father won't, for He sees us as the glorious beings we are capable of becoming."

Green Fingers, Raspy Lungs, and a Dirty House

Well, as some of you know, we recently had Jake's Baptism. And along with that came a ton of family! We had SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun with all of our loved ones, but now I am real sick. I'm going on 2 weeks now with a horrible cough and can barely get any breath at times. Forget doing anything like talking (Bret liked that) or overexerting (hence the dirty house). I've been doing a lot of Mafia Wars, sleeping, and drinking homemade Orange Julius.
Now I know you are wondering about the green fingers - Elijah and I just painted his PineWood Derby car (green). As I type I can see the thumb and first finger of my left hand going clickety, click, click.

Anywho, I am really wanting to post the video I made for Jakey's Baptism. I'm not sure if it will be possible, but I think I'll give it a try tonight after monkey's are in bed.

I also wanted to apologize real quick for letting my blog become dilapitated and overgrown with old posts. :) I will try to rectify that in the next few days/weeks.

My sister and her fam come next week. Maybe we'll have some really fun photo's to post for GMa & GPa V.
Hugs!

I'm not sure if the fun we're about to have should be documented.

When my mom lost her voice one Christmas, my dad went around the house saying, "It's a Christmas Miracle!" You should write that down, then Bret can follow your around the house....
